We are very reliant on our Amazon prime deliveries. That 2 day delivery service is something we’ve had since Scarlett was born back in 2013. I remember ordering so many random items in the middle of the night when she was a newborn. We’ve been sucked in since!
I love reading and hearing about other people’s amazon must haves and savy finds, so I figured the timing of this kind of post would be great considering many of us are still home bound a good bit and mostly shopping online right now. It seems like there is an ‘underground’ for amazon finds. So many helpful items I’ve found from others suggestions or by stumbling across it. These 15 products I will share are items I use every single day or at least weekly. Obviously, the callus foot scrub I do not use daily ðĪŠ
Let’s get into it!
Reusable Sweedish Sponge Towels: (a 10 pack) These are AMAZING. I’ve got my mom hooked on these too. These reusable clothes are so absorbent and wipe up messes so easily. I find I waste a lot less paper towels since using them. I wipe my counters, the kids seats at the table, the high chair, oven, and many more surfaces. I throw them in the dishwasher every couple of days and they are sanitized and ready to go again. These are my number 1 must have!
Silicone Face Scrubber: I did not want to pay for the electric version of this face scrubber when I could get the same effects by using a manual silicone scrubber. This has been a game changer in my skin care routine. I truly feel like my skin is softer and cleaner since I began using this over a year ago. Pair it with your exfoliator and you get a deep cleanse. I definitely did not get the deep cleanse feeling prior to using this. My make up comes off so much easier and I trust it comes off versus just using my hands to cleanse. I can see all the make up coming off and rise off the brush to scrub again.
Micellar Water: This micellar water has super clean ingredients which I love. I ‘pre cleanse’ my skin with this solution before I wash my face if I’ve worn make up that day. It makes taking off eye make up a breeze. I usually use this before I use the face scrubber to prep my face and remove the mascara, eye liner, and eye brow pencil. If I didn’t wear any make up that day, then I just wipe this across my face in the evening if I want to keep my skin regimen simple.
Self Draining Drying Rack: I love this self drying rack that directly drains into your kitchen sink. I find that the item we put most on here are wine glasses, ha! Super helpful in keeping my counters clear.
The Best Hypoallergenic Pillows: These have the highest ratings on amazon for a reason. Such a great price point for a set of 2. These are so fluffy without that tough feeling. They are just like hotel pillows you dream about sleeping on.
Silk Pillowcase: I pair the pillows above with this silk pillow case ($25) and it’s like a spa experience! Silk pillows are known to help minimize hair frizz, good for preventing wrinkles (so they say), and good for dry skin. I personally just love how soft it is and that alone is worth it! When it’s not clean I definitely miss it. ð
Satin Elastic Scrunchies: This set is under $6 and are such great quality! I wear these everyday and haven’t reached for my other traditional hair ties in months. They stay put really well and don’t leave lines in my hair.
Kitchen Aid Shears: We have two pairs of these scissors. One pair cuts the gritty hard things like card board boxes and the other pair we strictly use for food. These scissors have made my life much easier when cutting things like grapes, chicken nuggets, cheese sticks, pizza, etc. These scissors save me so much time when preparing meals for the kids. âïļ
Steel Frying Pan with Ultra Nonstick Titanium and Ceramic Copper Coating: This super reasonable frying pan is the BEST! We have the 12.5″ and use it almost everyday to prepare meals with. I’ve been wanting the smaller size one for smaller prepared meals, but the larger one has been wonderful. We’ve cooked so much bacon in this pan and there are no signs of stains or wear. Always looks clean and is so easy to wipe and wash after each use.
18K Gold Plated Silver Diamond Stud Earrings: I cannot get over the great quality of these stud earrings. They are perfect for wearing everyday just to look a little put together. I love these and reach for them almost daily. I have sensitive ears and these have not bothered me at all. I even shower with them on and they still look good as new. Such a good find!
Cosmetic Travel Case: Says travel case, but I use this everyday just at home. I find myself getting ready in whatever room I can each day and having just one big bag that everything fits in is so convenient. The compartments are interchangeable and you can move the dividers around to fit your make up best. This has been a game changer and I find I actually get ready more often since my bag is convenient.
Callus Remover Brush: This thing. Y’all!! It’s amazing. Quite possibly the grossest item I could link, but it’s amazing. This will exfoliate and take all the dead skin off your feet in a few short minutes. It has a cover on the outside to keep all the dead skin so you can look at it afterwards. You’ll be so grossed out, but also amazed at what comes off your feet. I know most spas aren’t open right now so this device gave my feet life! ð§ââïļ
Continuous Hair Spray Bottle: I never expected to love this spray bottle so much, but this thing is such a game changer. Everyday I spray Sully’s curly hair to re style his curls and set his hair. Scarlett’s hair is wavy/thick and gets knotted so easily, so we are always spraying her hair with water first to help get the knots out. Our mornings (especially school mornings) are already so jam packed that the continuous spray has saved my sanity when it comes to getting the kids hair ready each day. Call me a granny, but my fingers are numb after punching the release button on the standard spray bottle that this continuous spray bottle feels like a luxury item ð
Double Braided Extra Long Phone Charging Cord: I bought this last year to go in my hospital bag so that I could use my phone wherever the outlet was and ended up becoming addicted and using it next to my bed. It was super helpful to have when I was up in the middle of the night nursing Shep. I don’t think I’ll ever use the standard length cord again. Since my phone charges all night, I just hook it up to the smaller cube with my iPhone 11 Pro (since I know the newer phones have a different docking cube now).
Reusable Stainless Steel Metal Straws: I love these straws so much! They’ve become a staple in our home. With all the smoothies and cocktails we’ve been making these are so nice to have on hand. Easy to wash too. Our plastic ones always have bite marks from the kids and get gross quick so it’s nice to know these are always on hand.
