Usually, the last things I pick up before or a little after school begins are fresh new basics and activewear for Scarlett. We often forget that once their clothing for school is taken care, the next thing they need (because they’ve outgrown from last year) are socks, underwear, new leotard for dance, crop pants for dance, leggings for soccer, new socks for soccer, new tennis shoes for outdoor activities, and jackets to get us through the upcoming fall and winter months. I am always scrambling to grab clothes for after school activities because each new school year it seems like she needs the next size up in everything. Which makes complete sense, it just is a whirlwind when you’re already doing so much during the back to school season. I’ve found the cutest pieces for Scarlett at Walmart and she is so excited to wear them throughout the school year. Walmart has such a great selection of girls and boys brands for fashion! We picked up these cute crop leggings and she wore them to go rock climbing– which they were perfect for! It’s such a tough transitional time for me as a girl mom, because I still want to dress her in sweet classic things, yet, I want to give her some control of her wardrobe too. I found so many sweet things at Walmart for her! It’s so fun to see her excited about some of the new pieces we picked up for her. I rounded them up below!

So far all the pieces we grabbed have been such a hit! She’s worn the jacket, socks, underwear, crop leggings, and boy shorts already! In a few weeks more extra curricular activities begin and she will be so excited to wear some of the other pieces.
