Halloween Gift Tags + Non Candy Filler Ideas
October 4, 2018Non Candy filler ideas has just come naturally to us for a few years now. We’ve been very conscious about food allergies and keeping our friends safe ever since Scarlett started pre school. I know for parents with children who have allergies it is so appreciated when fellow parents take the time to consider non food or candy options for year round gifting. Every Halloween we always have a cauldron filled with candy and a bucket for candy. We want to make sure we are accommodating to all of the children who are trying to trick or treat 🙂 You can read about the Teal Pumpkin project here and how to further help by placing a Teal pumpkin on your porch to let the children know you are handing out non food Halloween goodies.
When it comes to gift bags for school, both of my kids schools are a nut free facility, so we are just accustomed to not sending food or candy items by now. I wanted to share these adorable treat tags from Katie Corley Art + our non candy filler ideas for fellow mama’s trying to put together little bags for your kids class. Katie is accepting custom tag orders until October 12, so reach out to her if you wish to order! We love how cute our tags came out and they look so adorable with some colored string tied to them! I was not expecting to have it together for Halloween this year given I’ve been so sick, but I’m getting as much done while I am feeling good! Hope y’all enjoy the inspiration for this post!

Another quick option for the gift tags is to invest in one item and just tie the gift tag to it to be more of a “one and done” type of thing. You can skip the cello bags and just tie the gift tags to the bubble wands and call it a day!
Not every year do I have it together, but I am excited that things were aligning this year for me to share these cute and helpful ideas! Crafting is in my soul and when I have the time and energy to do it, Girl I’m going to do it! I don’t want the label of “pinterest mom” but look, I’ll happily share in the moments that I had it together and chased after a vision! You just do you and whatever makes you happy!
Thank you for reading and I would love for you to leave a comment sharing your favorite Non Candy Filler ideas for your kids Halloween bags! I always love to add to this post if you share something that would be helpful to other moms out there!
