DIY Waffle Bar Party

February 3, 2015

Valentine's-Day-2014-21 It is always fun to spice up the ordinary play group get together and host something fancy every once in awhile, am I right? Plus, waffles are a huge hit not just for kids but for the mama’s, too! This was super easy to set up and clean up if I am being completey honest. I had all of the batter prepared the night before and laid out my waffle maker and serving plates ahead of time. The brown paper made for an easy table scape and was perfect for writing food and station descriptions. Plus, the kids loved the scribble on it when the eating part was done. I used a buffalo check table runner from a local party store to add a pop of red and that is it! Just add all of your plates, toppings, and food to complete the look. This was a great and fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with all of my mama friends.

We stationed our Valentine’s at the end of the table for our friends to grab as they left.
