It completely amazes me that Southern Mama + Child has been live for a month now. I am in awe of the love and support I have received in creating this website. So many of you love it and have shared nice comments through email and other social media. I truly am thankful for all of the sweet words y’all have given me. I am passionate about putting out wonderful information that is tasteful and informative. I considered July a soft launch month and just tried to get a routine going for this site. I definitely am still learning and have lots to share with you. I am thankful for all of my blogging friends, business owners, and readers who have offered to contribute in some way to the blog. I am SO happy to welcome other mama’s to contribute in any. This blog is all about Motherhood and focusing on other Mama’s out there. I am so happy to have created a space for Mother’s to source things they may have questions on. If there is anything else you want to hear or read about, please tell me via email or in the comment section. I am all ears and am happy to post on topics you are looking to read about!

Now, I need your help, though! I am trying to get the word out to as many people as possible without having to spend money that I don’t have. Would love it if you followed or liked my pages on social media.

For Facebook, every “like” and comment you post gets Southern Mama+Child more exposure. Just because you like my page does not mean you will see my posts. Facebook has now began making fan pages pay money if they would like their fans to see their posts, which makes it really hard for SM+C to get noticed. So, you can help! Each interaction (like, comment, share) gets my page more noticed by other fans and friends of fans for free! Did you know you can invite your friends to like my page? YOU CAN! Under my thumbnail, you will see “likes” and “people” who like my page. Then underneath that you can click “invite your friends” in small blue font, and invite all of your mama friends who would enjoy the blog!

I am a one woman team over here with a busy husband who studies/is gone a lot, a tiny baby lady who tries to remove everything off my desk when I am working, has a house that always needs tidying, photography that needs editing, and family & friends to follow up on. My daughters Mother’s Day Out program just ended for summer, so y’all send good vibes my way as I try to get these things all done on my own. As always, I am SO appreciative of the support and kind words that y’all send me it truly inspires and motivates me to keep going!
