On Saturday we went back to our favorite Pumpkin Patch (and tree farm), Old Baker Farm! There are several places to go here, but this one just holds a sweet tradition in our hearts. We’ve been going since Scarlett was a baby and just seeing how much she changes each year and is more interested in different activities they do is so neat! Last year she couldn’t really do the hay stack pyramid on her own and this year I was begging her not to go to the top. I think both the kids favorite activity to do there is the hay ride and petting zoo. Such a fun and classic fall tradition to do. We scoured 3 pumpkins this year, but it was not easy. Unfortunately after 2/3 hurricanes passing through Birmingham this year, the crops have really been over soaked and didn’t produce like they have in years before that we had gone. The last time we were at this farm I was pregnant with Sully, so it was so sweet to finally bring him. Last year we missed out because of the drought and didn’t want to bring the kids out in the dusty setting. So glad everything worked out this year and we got to go!
Cannot believe it’s already mid October! Where is the time going? I want this month to last longer!!
Will y’all let me know in the comments what your favorite thing about Fall? Especially if it’s something locally you love to do 🙂
