In the south especially, football season is a time to grill out, tailgate, have parties, attend games in the stadium, and cheer on our favorite teams! Lots of women take this opportunity to also revamp their closets to make sure they have a color appropriate outfit to wear on game day to show their team spirit! I remember dressing to the nines when I was in college at LSU. Every Saturday I spent doing my hair, make up, and getting dressed. I was always making sure I had an outfit to wear for game day- I enjoyed that part of game day so much. Thankfully by living in a dorm and with roommates over the years I saved a lot of money by borrowing from friends. My husband and I were just talking about how we don’t think we ever missed a home game while attending college! So crazy! I have fond memories of getting ready with my girlfriends, tailgating, and being so excited to show off my new frock. Even though we don’t get to make it down to the games in Baton Rouge as much, I still enjoy to throw on my team colors for LSU or the Saints when we have some fun plans happening. Thankfully our college and NFL team share a mutual color, gold, so I am able to use for both. For this list I did stick to mostly dresses, I did find a few tops that I did add in some categories but the focus was on dresses.
