I ordered this adorable southern flair dress last month for a few functions I had coming up while visiting back home in New Orleans. Even my single girlfriends were like, “britt, where did you get that? I love it” So, thanks girls for making me feel young and stylish! Thankful for sweet friends who compliment my looks, and make me feel like I’m doing something right 😉 So, what drew me to this french blue dress is the color of the it and the smocking detail on the sleeve! So so cute! Moms can wear smocking too, right? Ive been a sucker for anything french blue lately. It’s my favorite color by far! That V neck back is also a sweet little detail I love! I’m 5’8″ so the length of this dress was really great as well, plus its lined!! It’s so hard to find lined anything these days, so I didn’t want to forget that detail. I chose a size small and it fits very comfortably.

When Joel and I came back home late last week after a long trip to New Orleans we only had Scarlett with us- which was such a weird feeling! It felt like a mini vacation to be honest! He is never home to take my photos, which is why I’ve ordered a tripod and clicker for my future style posts. Plus, it is super hard to get the kids on board to behave for when I need to outfit photos. I jumped on the opportunity that I could tag her along easily for photos this time! I am so impressed with Joel’s photo taking abilities lately, he is a huge supporter of helping with this blog when he can, so I love when I see him exceed my expectations for these sort of things 🙂
