Since becoming parents, we have spent many years cuddled up on the couch sipping some changmpage and watching a movie together. We’ve enjoyed going out 2 of the 4 years we’ve been parents 😉 Who knows what we will do this year since plans haven’t been set yet. I did love getting the chance to dress up with my girl and put on some sparkly dresses for some New Years Eve fun! Scarlett loves looking at the pictures my mom took of us! We will cherish these! And she is obsessed with her sparkly dress! Moms of girls, you’ve got to get this dress! It’s even prettier in person, comes in 3 colors, and is made so well! I love this neutral glitter combo for little girls!

I wanted to share my beauty products that I used for this post. I found Beauty Counter a little over a year ago and have loved trying their products! Some of my favorites include their kids shampoo and conditioner. I use the conditioner on my own hair because it is that good! I have very thick hair, and I’ve never had a product work so well to detangle and condition while in the shower. For this shoot, I specifically used the winter dream palette Those colors are gorgeous and perfect for this time of year! Also, I am a sucker for their lip line. I’ve been using Lip Sheer in Petal for years! I am eager to try their facial line next year! I’ve heard so many great things about their skin care line. The amazing thing about Beauty Counter is that their products are safe do not contain harmful ingredients like many others do. This is always something I am trying to hard to learn more about and fill my home with safe products for my family. I have been so pleased with the products I have tried from Beauty Counter so far! I promise you won’t regret it- especially that shampoo and conditioner from the kids line 😉

Even though our little ones will be in bed well before the new year we plan to do some fun activities with them before. Planning on making some party hats, write down our favorite memories from the year and showing them pictures/videos, pop some popcorn, make a fun fizzy drink, and hopefully do some sparklers! I’m excited for this NYE! I love that we can do more with this holiday now that Scarlett is a little older- it’s so fun to include her on special occasions in her own little way 🙂 Happy New Year everyone!
