Flattering Postpartum Clothing

February 17, 2016

Postpartum-Flattering-Clothing   1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6 // 7 (dark wash)// 8

Are you pregnant or maybe just had a baby? This post is for you. After you have a baby, things just take awhile to go back to how they were and some things just never are the same. When I started feeling back to normal and somewhat out of a fog, I found myself wanting to run errands, meet friends, and going to more social events. This was all exciting, but I struggled to find clothes that I felt confident in. There are a few styles that are perfect for postpartum bodies. Those are peplum and wrap tops- and if they are longer then that is even better. I have found those two to be really great for my mid section, which isn’t quite back to how it was. Honestly, these were my favorite before I even got pregnant with my second baby, just because they are really flattering to many body types. While I was pregnant, it was really hard to look forward to picking out spring clothing because I just didn’t know where I would be. After looking at a few online stores, I found that there were lots of options to help me feel comfortable again. S0, I wanted to share those here today 🙂 I hope this helps anyone who is looking for some inspiration for their closet after baby!

A few things about the pants. I own them all and highly recommend them! I literally live in those black skinny leggings- I really need two pairs. The material is so comfortable and does not wear, which I love. The high rise skinny jeans are another favorite because let’s face it, I just feel more comfortable in a high rise pant these days! They are super slimming and make me feel more “put together”. The liquid leather leggings are another favorite because faux leather is so in right now and these are stretchy high rise making the fit more flattering! Just my little two cents! I hope this post finds you well! I’d love to hear what kind of clothing has worked for you after having a baby!

I have had my eye on those zella leggings for like a year! And i have been really wanting some leather leggings, too. Are they hot though?

I waited so long to buy them too, I am so glad I caved and got them. I literally live in them ha! So, I only wear the faux leggings when it’s cold, so I haven’t been hot in them yet.
