Pumpkin Spice Muffins

It is so fun to get into the holiday spirit by incorporating as many pumpkin ideas in your daily life. With pumpkin spiced latte’s, why not spice up your breakfast even more with some pumpkin spiced muffins? This 4 ingredient recipe is just too easy not to try this Fall! They are so delicious and are great for gift giving, too! Spice them up with some buttercream icing and walnuts to top and you can make them into a dessert! Enjoy the recipe below!

Pumpkin-SPice-Muffins

Recipe Ingredients

1 box of yellow cake mix
1 can of pumpkin puree (15 ounce)
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 12 cup muffin pan or line with paper liners.

2. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves until smooth. Spoon equal amounts of batter into the prepared muffin cups.

3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted in the center of one comes out clean.

    These look great and I’m looking forward to baking them. The directions say to add cloves, but it isn’t included on the ingredient list. How many should I add and is that a spice? Many thsnks!

      The cloves are optional and it is totally up to you! I found them to be a little too much, so I left them out. I did use 1/2 tsp when I did it 🙂
